INEC chairman accuses PDP agent, Dino Melaye, of disrupting collation of results+ VIDEO

The collation agent of the Peoples Democratic Party in the ongoing exercise, Senator Dino Melaye, has been accused of deliberately disrupting the collation exercise.

Prof Mahmud Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, made the allegations after appealing to Melaye several times over his allegations over uploading of the results of the elections since election day.

Melaye had raised objections over the manner of the presentations of the results challenging the INEC boss to allow a display of the election results at the collation centre.

The agent of the All Progressive Congress, Babatunde Ogala SAN, had countered Melaye saying what he proposed would make the exercise an elongated one.

After this, Melaye raised his voice accusing the INEC of allowing manipulations of the exercise.

Melaye stood up for minutes shouting and directing his allegations against the chairman.

“You are now deliberately disrupting the exercise,” Yakubu accused Melaye.

When it appeared Melaye was not ready to listen, the INEC chairman called on other states to go ahead with their presentations, ignoring further comments by Melaye.
