Three people have been rescued from a 25-storey building that collapsed in the Ikoyi area of Lagos, in which many people are feared trapped.
The building still under construction reportedly collapsed on Monday afternoon in Ikoyi, a highbrow area of Lagos.

This is coming less than a week when a three-floor structure partially collapsed at 4, Kola John Street, Aguda, Surulere area of Lagos State.
The occupants of the affected Surulere building and adjoining one were inside and had to be quickly evacuated to prevent loss of lives.
Commenting on the incident, Director-General of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, also said heavy-duty equipment and life detection equipment had been moved to the area for rescue operation.
He said, “Collapsed building on Gerard Road, Ikoyi: The agency has activated its emergency response plan to the above incident. All first responders are en route to secure the scene while the heavy-duty equipment and life detection equipment have been dispatched.”
Earlier, Spokesperson for LASEMA, Nosa Okunbo, while confirming the incident said, “A 25-storey building collapsed by Musliu Junction, Ikoyi, Lagos. LASEMA is on top of the situation.”
