A Nigerian Air Force fighter jet has launched a fresh attack on the enclave of Zamfara terrorist leader, Bello Turji.
Daily Trust reports that the notorious bandit narrowly escaped aerial bombardment on his home, Saturday afternoon.
It quoted a source as saying the fighter jet returned to the area around 9am on Monday, dropping at least two bombs.
It was also reported bandits suspected to be from Turji’s camp on Monday morning launched assault on travellers along Sokoto-Gusau road in the Shinkafi area.
A resident of Shinkafi, Murtala Wadatau, said the armed men blocked the road at Kwanar Badarawa and Birnin Yero.
