JUST IN: Bandits abduct ex-NYSC DG in Katsina
Former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga (retd.), has been abducted.
He was abducted early morning of Thursday by bandits in Tsiga village, Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Eyewitnesses reported that the attack occurred around 12:30am when bandits stormed the community, firing gunshots to create panic among residents.

Tsiga was kidnapped alongside several other villagers, and their current whereabouts remain unknown.
The attackers reportedly fled with the victims into the surrounding forests.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
The abduction underscores the disturbing security challenges in Katsina State.
