Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde is on the verge of winning a re-election as governor for another term of four years.
Already, the governor, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Saturday’s governorship election, is coasting home to victory, having been declared winner in 15 out of the 16 local governments announced so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The announcement of the governorship result was still ongoing at Mutiu Agboke Collation Centre, Oyo INEC headquarters, Agodi, Ibadan, as of 1pm Sunday.
