More top Nigerian politicians and other influential leaders are connecting in London to hold talks; the latest being former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s meeting with the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi and the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, held on Thursday.
Reports said that the meeting was part of negotiations ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
Wike was said to have attended the meeting with Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and former Cross River State Governor, Donald Duke, among others.
It was also learnt that the meeting between Wike and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, would hold in London later today.
Wike had earlier in company with some of the PDP governors loyal to him met with the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, in London.
