Just like the last protest held on August 1-10, demonstration was tagged #FearlessInOctober, with hundreds of Nigerians taking to the streets to demand an end to bad governance.
The Tuesday protest on the Independence Day was organised by civil society groups, activists, and concerned citizens.
Thr protesters spoke on their frustrations with the current Nigeria’s political, economic and social issues.
They were led by human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore and marched through the nation’s capital, holding signs with messages like “Enough is Enough” and “We Demand Accountability.”
In Lagos, the protesters gathered at the Ikeja underbridge.
