Kaduna train attackers release 85-year-old victim, three others

Eighty-five-year-old woman and her daughter were among four victims of Abuja-Kaduna train attack released by their captors on Friday.

On March 28, the train was attacked by terrorists in Kaduna. Several persons were killed while many were abducted during the attack.
Since the incident, the abductors have been releasing the captives in batches.

Tukur Mamu, Publisher of Kaduna-based Desert Herald who is a media consultant to Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, confirmed the release of the four hostages to newsmen in Kaduna.

Mamu, who later withdrew as one of negotiators, also disclosed that if urgent steps were not taken, a 21-year-old Arzurfa Lois John might be married off to one of the terrorists.

Mamu gave the identities of those released as Mama Halimatu Atta, her daughter, Adams, Mohammed Sani Abdulmaji (M.S Ustaz) and Alhaji Modin Modi Bodinga.
