As important personalities across the country land in Kano for the glamorous wedding of Yusuf Buhari on Friday, President Muhammadu Buhari’s only son, with his heartthrob, Princess Zahra, security operatives have taken strategic positions in the ancient northern city to ensure a hitch-free ceremony.

Yusuf is getting married to Zahra, daughter of Alhaji Nasir Bayero, Emir of Bichi, who is also a brother to the incumbent Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero.

The lovebirds were said to have met each other in the United Kingdom. Yusuf attended University of Surrey (UK) and Zahra studied Architecture.

Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano hosted several private jets of guests that flew into the city for the presidential wedding.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, who arrived at the Aminu Kano International Airport and received by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano, is leading top government officials to wait for President Buhari, who is expected to come in through Yola, Adamawa State.

Buhari left Abuja for Yola to condole with the family of Ahmad Joda, elder statesman, who died last week.

Several dignitaries, including governors and ministers, are thronging Kano to attend the event.

Femi Fani-Kayode, a Buhari critic, announced via his Facebook page that he arrived in Kano on Thursday to attend the ceremony.

Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, led the presidency team to the wedding. Others in the delegation are Minister of Defence, Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi (retd.); Minister of Agriculture, Sabo Nanono; Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika; Minister of Water Resources, Suleiman Adamu, as well as senior presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu.

Apart from the wedding, Nasir Ado-Bayero will be decorated as the new Emir of Bichi on Saturday, where he will receive his staff of office from Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

Mohbad’s brother demands apology from actors for hacking into his account

Younger brother of the late Hip Hop singer ( Ileri-Oluwa Aloba), Adura Aloba, has demanded public apology from actors, Yomi Fabiyi, Damola Ayinde and others, for allegedly having unauthorised access to his social media Tiktok account and using same to disrepute him or face legal action.

Adura said: “The hacking of my personal Tiktok account had led to fraudulent posts, interactions, and messages being attributed to me without my knowledge or consent.

“Yomi Fabiyi posted a petition claiming to have communicated directly with me and there was evidence of this.

“However, the alleged messages were orchestrated by Damola Ayinde, who used my compromised account. Despite the evidence circulating that these malicious actions were the work of Damola Ayinde, Fabiyi has consistently continued to publicly malign me.

“He even visited the Lagos State Police Command in Ikeja, but has also refused to withdraw his statements or tender an apology. Instead, he has persisted in tarnishing my name, which I find to be malicious.

“My primary goal is to prove my innocence and expose the malicious actions of those who have tried to tarnish my reputation.

“I also demand that Mr. Yomi Fabiyi ceases his defamatory actions, retract his statements, and issue a public apology for the harm he has caused me.

“I stand firm in my pursuit of justice and fairness, and I appreciate the public’s support as I fight to clear my name.”
