Katsina gov visits Yar’adua family over death of ex-President’s mother
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has paid a condolence visit to the Yar’adua family following the passing of Hajiya Dada Musa Yar’adua, the family’s matriarch and mother of late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua.
The 102-year-old Hajiya Dada passed away Monday evening at the Yar’adua family home.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, said Radda cut short his engagements in Daura to stand in solidarity with the bereaved family.
He was accompanied by key members of his administration, including the Chief of Staff, Secretary to the State Government, and other members of the State Executive Council.

According to the statement, Governor expressed profound sorrow at the loss and praised Hajiya Dada for her exemplary life and contributions to the community.
He offered prayers for the repose of her soul and asked Allah to grant her eternal rest. Governor Radda also prayed for strength and fortitude for the family to bear the loss.
He urged the family to take solace in Hajiya Dada’s remarkable legacy and continue her good works in service to humanity.
