Kemi Badenoch: Nigerian police officers stole my brother’s shoes, wristwatch (Video)
United Kingdom Conservative Party’s leader, Kemi Badenoch, known for her candid comments about Nigeria, has shared a troubling account of her experiences with Nigerian police.
In a recent interview with The Free Press, which gained attention on Saturday, Badenoch was asked about her trust in the British police.
“I do,” she replied. “My experience with the police in Nigeria was very negative, and coming to the UK, my first experience with the police was very positive. The police in Nigeria would rob us.”

Badenoch’s remarks bring to fore a stark contrast between her experiences in Nigeria and the UK, further fueling discussions about governance and corruption in Nigeria.
