Updated: Female student tricked to attend ‘night party’ in Ilorin for N15,000 found dead

A 21-year-old female student of the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Ilorin, Awesu Mojisola, who was given a ‘night party’ girlfriend job for a fee of N15,000, has been found dead.

Mojisola’s body was found near a refuse dump in the Aleniboro area of Ilorin, Kwara State.

Her disappearance was first reported on August 9, 2024, by her roommate, Blessing O.

The police in a statement on Tuesday provided details of what led to Mojisola’s death.

According to Kwara State Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, one Timileyin, another female student, had introduced the deceased to Mr. Adebayo Happiness, a student of Summit University.

Happiness allegedly lured Moji to a night party, offering to pay her N15,000 to pose as his girlfriend.

“However, the late Mojisola had informed her roommate, one Miss Blessing O, that she felt uncomfortable in the hotel she was lodged in by Happiness, adding that there was no party at the said location.

“Shortly after this communication her phone was switched off and all subsequent efforts by Blessing to reach her were unsuccessful”, Ejire-Adeyemi said.

Kwara State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of suspects connected to the killing of the 21-year-old lady.
