Lagos gov sacks LTV GM, LAWMA MD
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has sacked Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Ibrahim Odumboni.
General Manager of the Lagos Television (LTV), Siju Alabi, was also removed from office.
A letter from the Office of the Head of Service (HOS) dated June 9 and sighted by an online news platform asked Odumboni to vacate office immediately.
The letter was signed by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, according to a report by PM News.
Odumboni appointed, LAWMA MD/CEO on August 2020, was directed to hand over to the next in command, Kunle Adebiyi, who is the Executive Director, Finance in the company.
Siju Alabi was reportedly ordered by the governor to proceed on compulsory leave some weeks back and will not be returning as GM of the LTV.
