Leaders chosen by God will thrive, those by satan will fail – Obasanjo
Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has remarked that leaders appointed by divine providence are destined to succeed, while those chosen by Satan are doomed to fail.
Speaking during a virtual interactive session titled Boiling Point Arena, Obasanjo emphasized that, like God, Satan also has the power to enthrone leaders, albeit without the assurance of salvation.
“Most leaders are prepared by God, and this divine preparation gives them the grace to achieve success. On the other hand, those enthroned by the devil are bound to falter,” he said during the session.
He noted, “And again people saying all leaders are made by God, I don’t accept that. A leader can also be made by Satan.
In the case of Job, you can remember Satan was going up and down and went before God and God was commending Job but Satan said Job was upright to God because he has gotten from God,” Obasanjo stated.
