A member representing Gwaram Federal Constituency, Yuguda Hassan Kila, has died.
Kila was born in 1951 at Kila in the Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
Kila, who was chairman of the House Committee on Customs, died on Thursday afternoon at the National Hospital, Abuja after a brief illness.
A retired Customs Comptroller, the late politician began his basic education at Kila Primary School and later went to Igbo Union Grammar School in Kano.
He also attended Barewa College in Zaria and later College of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA.
In 2015, he was elected member of the House of Representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress.
He was re-elected for the same position in 2019 general elections.
