In major shakeup, CBN sacks 8 directors, 32 senior officials
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has fired another 40 employees.
The majority of the newly laid-off employees were from the development finance department.
On Friday, the disengaged employees received their dismissal letters.
Musa Zgabawa Bulus, an Assistant Director of the CBN in charge of the National Collateral Registry (NCR), is among those sacked.

Deputy directors and assistant directors were mostly affected with 22 from the DFD and the remaining 18 from Medicals and Procurement Services Department.
Details of sacked workers were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report but sources within the apex bank revealed that the total number of sacked employees had risen to 67.
