Makinde approves selection of RCCG Pastor, Olaoye as new Soun of Ogbomoso
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved the selection of Prince Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye as the new Soun-elect of Ogbomoso land.
Makinde made this announcement on Saturday.
The stool became vacant as a result of the transition of the immediate past Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi.
The monarch joined his ancestors on Sunday, December 12, 2021.

Makinde has, however, approved the selection of the Soun-elect.
Makinde made this announcement through a statement signed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Olusegun Olayiwola.
He appealed to the indigenes of the city to work with the monarch to consolidate the successes of his forefathers.
