Man arraigned in Lagos for allegedly defiling 10-year-old daughter
On Wednesday, August 28, a 38-year-old man, Lucky Ugwauka, was arraigned at the Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for the alleged defilement of his 10-year-old daughter.
Ugwauka, whose address was not disclosed, faces charges of defilement, as reported by NAN.
The alleged offense took place on August 16 at 6:00 p.m. on Abapasha Street in the Ojo area of Lagos.

According to the prosecutor, Insp. Ayodele Adeosun, Ugwauka is accused of defiling his daughter and threatening to kill her if she disclosed his actions.
The charges against Ugwauka fall under Sections 139, 263, and 58 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. Despite the serious allegations, Ugwauka has pleaded not guilty.
Chief Magistrate Patrick Adekomaiya granted Ugwauka bail in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties required to be level 14 officers in the Civil Service.
The case has been adjourned to September 30 for further mention.
