A middle-aged man was electrocuted while trying to destroy a billboard of a governorship candidate in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The man identified as a member of the Park Management System was said to have climbed the poll at the Challenge area of Ibadan on Friday November 4, without knowing that the billboard was connected to live wire close to the board.
Eyewitness said while the victim was struggling with the billboard, his colleagues fled the scene of the incident before the arrival of the police.
A video of the incident which has gone viral, showed the victim lying down on the ground while passersby watched his lifeless body.
