Man punched to death at Lagos lounge over right of passage
A 46-year-old man, Philip Ogbuehi, has been arrested in connection with the death of an unnamed man following an argument over right of way at a lounge in the Ogidan Sangotedo area of Lagos.
According to the Lagos State Police Command, the incident occurred on May 6, 2025, at around 8 p.m. during a heated exchange between Ogbuehi and the deceased.

Ogbuehi allegedly punched the victim in the chest, causing him to lose consciousness.
The deceased was quickly rushed to a hospital but was later confirmed dead by medical personnel.
Investigations are ongoing, and the police have not yet released the identity of the victim.
