Many people have been reported dead in multiple bomb explosions that occurred on Monday morning at Galadima-Kogo in the Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
This was said to have happened a few hours after gunmen invaded three communities, a few meters away from Galadima-Kogo.
Co-Convener of Concerned Shiroro Youths of Niger State, Sani Yusuf Kokki, confirmed this, saying, the explosives were believed to be bombs planted by terrorists.
He said in a statement, “Explosives believed to be bombs planted by marauding terrorists have been exploded this morning at Galadima Kogo. Reports emanating from the embattled Galadima Kogo indicate that recurring sounds could be heard as explosives continue to detonate unabated.
“Casualty figure could not be ascertained at the moment as the affected areas are not yet accessible due to fear of possible dangers.”
