A gas explosion has occurred in the Amuwo-Odofin area of Lagos, with scores of people injured.
The incident was said to have happened on Tuesday around 6.55pm on Iyasoko Street, Agboju in the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area.
The Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the explosion, adding that a rescue team had been dispatched to the scene.
