Lagos stood still on Saturday as the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) held a presidential campaign rally for the party’s candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in the Surulere area of the state.
The rally, according to Director-General of the State Campaign Council, Senator Ganiyu Solomon, was a homecoming for the former Lagos Governor and the national leader of the party.

Supporters held brooms, APC’s logo and their placards indicating their respective wards across the state.
Banners also bore the face of the APC governorship candidate in Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Obafemi Hamzat.
Also at the event were Nollywood stars including — Yinka Quadri, Saheed Balogun, Eniola Ajao, Foluke Daramola, Taiwo Hassan, Terry G, among others.
Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in his remarks said, “Thank you, Asiwaju, for being the architect and builder of the modern Lagos that we’re all enjoying today, for having the vision, the character, the tenacity to push forth an idea into a plan that has birthed the new Lagos today.”
