MASSOB attacks Gbajabiamila for calling secession agitators terrorists

THE Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra on Thursday condemned the statement credited to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, in which he likened the Yoruba Nation agitators, Indigenous Peoples of Biafra and other Pro- Biafra agitators as not different from ISWAP and Boko Haram terrorists.

The leader of MASSOB, Uchenna Madu, in a statement by his National Director of Information, Mr Edeson Samuel, described the unguarded statement of the Speaker as unfortunate.

The pro-Biafra agitators said, “It is unfortunate for a well trained lawyer, who is also the Speaker of the nation’s parliament to stoop so low in making such unreasonable and inconsequential comment.

“How could a lawyer, who ought to know the difference between self- determination and terrorism, open his mouth in a public gathering and declared that a man who wants his freedom is the same with a criminals that go about kidnapping school children, destroying churches, mosques, killing people at will.”

“MASSOB is demanding that Gbajabiamila be taken to a psychiatrist to check if he is mentally ok. It is very clear that the Speaker has been bought over by the Fulanistic cabals that control the Presidency in Aso villa. If not so, then he might be one of the sponsors of Boko Haram and ISWAP.”
