Cox’s Bazar, Feb. 16 — Miscreants shot a Rohingya woman to death and wounded another Rohingya leader in gun attacks on two camps in Ukhiya upazila of the district on Thursday.
The killed, 25-year-old Noor Kayes, was the wife of one Najum Uddin in camp No-8 of Balukhali Rohingya refugee camp, said police.
The wounded is Abdur Rahman, 38, son of late Karim Ullah and chief community leader, locally known as head Majhi, of H-block in camp No-12 from the same refugee camp.

Sheikh Mohammad Ali, officer-in-charge of Ukhiya police station, said unidentified miscreants fired at the room of Noor around 11am leaving her critically wounded.
