Mother of five assassinated in Kogi, killers admit collecting N200,000
Tragedy struck in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State as gunmen, suspected to be hired assassins, brutally killed Mrs. Rose Eneojoh, a mother of five, on the night of Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Etikpolo Anyigba.
Charles Umoru, a family member, confirmed the heartbreaking incident in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
According to him, the killers admitted they were paid N200,000 to carry out the assassination. In a desperate plea for her life, Mrs. Eneojoh offered the gunmen the same amount in exchange for her safety.

Despite accepting the money, the gunmen still shot her dead, leaving behind her husband and five young children in deep sorrow.
Umoru expressed his outrage over the senseless killing, questioning how long such violence would continue in Igala Land.
The brutal murder has left the community shaken, with many calling for justice for the innocent woman and her grieving family.
The police are yet to issue an official statement, and investigations are expected to follow in the aftermath of this horrific crime.
