Mystery over death of Ogun varsity student after attack at motor park

The Ogun State Police Command is trying to unravel the mystery surrounding death of an Olabisi Onabanjo University student, Onadipe Oluwatosin Peckulia, whose corpse was discovered around Ijebu Ijesha town along Ilishan-Ago Iwoye Road in Odogbolu Local Government Area of the state.

Reports by eye witnesses claim that Onadipe’s death could have been caused by an incident that earlier happened at the motor park in Ago Iwoye.

On Sunday, December 17, 2023, Onadipe, it was gathered, was at the park to preach the gospel but was told he was disturbing the peace of the park.

He however continued which resulted in a man identified as a former park chairman using an iron rod to hit him and this caused him to collapse.
At this point, many at the park took to their heels as the police came in to the scene.

However, when his family and friends could not locate him, they embarked on a search to hospitals and other places after reporting it as a case of a missing person at the police station.

His corpse was however later found at Ijesha Ijebu town which was several kilometres away from where he was attacked in a circumstances that seemed like that of a vehicle accident.

The family is calling on the state police command to investigate the matter.
