Mystery over sudden death of fire service spokesman in Kwara
The Federal Fire Service in Kwara State has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of its Public Relations Officer, Ameen Olanrewaju.
News of his passing was announced on Saturday night through the Facebook page of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), which described the incident as unexpected.

“We received the news of his demise with shock and disbelief as the late Olanrewaju had shown no signs of illness prior to his death.
“According to close colleagues and friends, Olanrewaju played football on Friday night and retired to his room afterward. However, he did not wake up the following morning.
“He has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
“Our deepest condolences goes to his family, colleagues, the command, associates and the entire federal fire service,” the post reads.
