NDLEA commends Grand Mufti of Yorubaland’s anti-drug campaign with award (photos)
In a symbolic show of appreciation and collaboration, the Osun State Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Adetula Oluwarotimi, today presented a commendation award to the Grand Mufti of Yorubaland, Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan, during a thank-you visit to his office in Iwo, Osun State.

Commander Oluwarotimi praised the Grand Mufti’s unwavering commitment to cleansing society of drug abuse and illicit substances. “This commendation is not just an award, it is a statement of solidarity,” he remarked. “We recognize the Grand Mufti’s tireless efforts in encouraging moral uprightness, particularly among the youth. With leaders like him, our job becomes easier.”
In his remarks, the Grand Mufti expressed gratitude for the recognition and pledged continued support for initiatives that promote a drug-free society. He emphasized that the fight against drug abuse is not just a government task, but a communal responsibility that involves religious, traditional, and civic leaders.
