NDLEA, NAFDAC boards not part of dissolved agencies – FG

The The Federal Government has said the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and National Agency for Food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) are not among agencies whose boards of directors were dissolved on Monday.

After the approval of President Bola Tinubu, the FG announced Monday evening the dissolution of the governing boards of most its agencies, parastatals and companies.

This clarification concerning the NDLEA and NAFDAC was made in a statement on Tuesday by Willie Bassey, director of information in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

“Further to the directive on the dissolution of boards of Federal Government parastatals, agencies, institutions and government-owned companies, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation has clarified that the boards of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration & Control (NAFDAC) are exempted from such dissolution,” the statement read.
