Neighbour Details Tragic Final Moments of Nollywood Actress Allwell Ademola

A neighbour of the late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has shared a harrowing account of the events leading to her death, revealing the desperate efforts made to save her life. The 49-year-old actress passed away in late December after suffering a heart attack at her Lagos residence and was buried on January 9.

Speaking on the Talk2B podcast, the neighbour, who requested anonymity, said she first became alarmed after receiving a distressing phone call from Ademola. She quickly gathered her husband, her son, and her daughter’s friend, rushing to the actress’s apartment only to find the door initially locked.

“She didn’t open at first because she was naked and gasping for breath,” the neighbour recalled. After repeated knocking, Ademola eventually opened the door, appearing in severe distress.

The neighbour and her family attempted to revive Ademola with an energy drink before realising the situation was critical and deciding to rush her to the hospital. Heavy rain and limited help made the journey tense. “When we got her up, she couldn’t move her legs,” the neighbour said, realising the gravity of the situation.

Despite efforts to bring her to the hospital, Ademola had already passed away in the car without their knowledge. Upon arrival, medical staff attempted resuscitation, but after several hours, they confirmed her death. The neighbour described the moment as extremely painful, saying, “We were so hopeful… only for them to let us know that she had passed, which was a very painful moment.”

This account sheds light on the final moments of Allwell Ademola, highlighting the suddenness of her passing and the frantic efforts of those around her to save her life.
