New twist as Mohbad’s mother reveals singer’s true father
Abosede Aloba, the mother of the late Nigerian musician Mohbad (actual name Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba), has stated that her ex-husband, Mr. Joseph Aloba, is not Mohbad’s biological father.
Abosede made the assertion in a leaked audio tape from Tuesday.
Recall that Mohbad died at the age of 26 on September 12, 2023, in circumstances that are still shrouded in dispute.
In the audio recording, addressed to a blogger supporting Mr. Aloba, Mrs. Aloba also accuses him of exploiting the tragedy for personal gain.

“You thief! I give you three days to do DNA; you’ll know that Baba Mohbad is not the biological father of Mohbad.
“You know I’m married to someone else. He’s not the owner of those kids; he’s just taking money on their behalf and you say you’re looking for justice for Mohbad.”
