The NAF official was arrested for alleged ties with bandits who attacked the NDA in Kaduna.
The NAF’s official statement said Solomon of 153 BSG is attached with the Air Force Comprehensive School, Yola.
Solomon was arrested on the order of the Base Commander as requested by the NDA Commander, IM Yusuf, a major-general and the commandant at the academy.
for an offence connecting arms and ammunition sale to the bandit that attacked the military academy.
NAF said the arrested official would arrive at one of its “flight lines to convey him from Yola to the NDA Kaduna for further interrogation.”
The bandits on August 24 attacked the Afaka barracks of the NDA.
The Presidency described the attack on the NDA as a deliberate attempt to make the government look bad and discourage the military in its fight against insecurity.
