Nigerian Army Recruit Dies During Training in Zaria
A Nigerian Army recruit has tragically died during training at the Army Depot in Zaria, Kaduna State, prompting renewed focus on recruit welfare and military health protocols. The deceased, identified as Ibrahim Nazifi from Buba Bani Village, Akko Local Government Area, Gombe State, was part of the Nigerian Army Regular Recruit Intake (NA RRI 90).
The Gombe State Government confirmed the recruit’s death, describing him as a promising young soldier. Ambassador Yusuf Danbayo, Senior Special Assistant to the governor on security, expressed condolences to the family and prayed for mercy on his soul.
