Nigeria’s D’Tigress beat Senegal to win 4th Afrobasket championship
Nigeria’s D’Tigress have won the 2023 women’s Afrobasket championship after defeating Senegal in the final.
The Rena Wakama-led ladies beat the Senegalese 84-74 at the BK Arena, Kigali, Rwanda, on Saturday.
Nigeria has thus become the second African country to win the women’s Afrobasket title four times in a row.
