Eighteen persons have died and seven injured in a road accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The accident, which occurred on Saturday night some metres away from Isara Bridge at Ogere, Ogun State, involved three vehicles.
None of them had registration number and the impact of the crash set off an explosion and then fire, which charred 18 people.

Umar attributed the crash to speeding and dangerous driving, describing the crash as an avoidable one.
