Nord sets social media agog with two iconic SUV rollouts
Indigenous automobile company, Nord Automobiles Limited, has rolled out two superb sport utility vehicles in Lagos, A5 and Demir (tagged Prince of Nord).
The unveiling Friday evening at the University of Lagos showroom of its recently opened assembly plant was viewed virtually by millions of new SUV enthusiasts.
It instantly set the social media agog as many excited about the elegance of the Nigeria-assembled SUVs who viewed the virtual launch bombarded the Nord team with questions bordering special features, specking and pricing.
Chief Executive Officer of the Nord Automobiles, Oluwatobi Ajayi, said the company was intentional about release the powerful SUVs at this moment when people are seeking affordable high-performance utility vehicles with less stress maintenance.
Apart from the elegance and beauty of the two vehicles, he said they were built to solve problems.
According to him, the Nord Demir otherwise called Prince of the Nord also comes with the option of using compressed natural gas (CNG), which can be used in view of high cost of fuel after fuel subsidy removal.
Nord CEO noted that the two SUVs pack “Class, elegance, reliability, safety, excellence and offer best value”.
Ajayi declared that like the previous models of the Nord brand, A5 and Demir were built for the Nigerian roads “ to last and as an epitome of primacy.”
