N’Central group ignores Northern Elders, pledges support for Tinubu
In a dramatic turn of events, the North Central States Support Group has taken a bold stance against the Northern Elders, disavowing their recent statement and reaffirming their support for key political figures, notably president Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
In a statement jointly signed by both the Chairman of the group, Hon. Joseph Maiwada and the secretary Hon. Abraham Stephen Narai
Secretary, sent to Daily Sun on Wednesday minced no words as he declared, “We unequivocally dissociate ourselves from their agenda which is driven by greed and selfish interest.”
“Going through their statement it became clear to us that they have an ulterior agenda and cannot honestly substantiate the lies they are using as front to achieve their agenda. Their motive has failed even before it took off. We are wiser now and it will be difficult for anyone to toast us around in the name of talking for us.”

“The greed of a few is certainly not binding on the majority of us who are patriotic and genuinely want the country to work for all of us.”
“While the Northern Elders express skepticism and criticism, the North Central Support Group emphasizes tangible improvements and the efforts of leaders like Sen. Gorge Akume.”
Sen. Gorge Akume’s leadership is lauded by the group as a beacon of progress. “We note the effort that our Leader H.E Sen. Gorge Akume has put to help this government which is yielding results already,” remarked a spokesperson for the group. This endorsement adds weight to Akume’s political stature in the region.
“It is a miscarriage of realty for the said group of Elders to assume their selfish interest is universal and serves all.
Daily Sun reports that Observers speculate about the potential implications of this rift on the upcoming political landscape. Will it lead to further fragmentation or catalyze a realignment of interests within the North.
