Obiano had on Thursday sacked his senior security aide, James Nwafor, who is a former head of SARS in the state.
The governor has also promised to free all illegally detained persons and ensure that Nwafor accused of killing and maiming many was brought to book.
Obiano last week said he woulf inaugurate a panel that would receive public petitions on the activities of SARS in the state, adding that the panel would be headed by a retired chief judge.
