Ondo varsity’s final year student commits suicide after church vigil
A 500-level student of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba (AAUA), Ondo State, Ayandare Modupe, has committed suicide.
Ayandare, the President of the Department of Agronomy, was said to have committed the act about 4am after attending a church vigil.
Her body was found beside the church around Sportless Villa.

Spokesman of the Students Union Government, Olaogbebikan Noble, in a statement, said the student’s body was in agony over the incident.
According to the statement, “The law enforcement agency has been informed and all hands are on deck in getting to the root of the situation. Be rest assured that justice will be served and the law enforcement agency will do a thorough investigation.”
