There was pandemonium on Saturday night at Gwarandok community in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State when a fight broke out between suspected members of two rival gangs leading to the alleged death of one and another injured.
The Nation gathered that several other persons escaped with various degrees of injury.
Commercial activities were grounded with shops hurriedly locked up over fear of reprisal attacks by the gangsters.
The incident, which occurred around 7pm on Saturday, it was gathered followed a reprisal that occured at Namua Junction on Friday evening .
It was gathered that some members of the gang had earlier launched an attack on the rival gang at Namu Junction on Friday evening but were repelled by local vigilantes .

It was gathered that the young man was allegedly removed from the police station out by the mob after his arrest.
It was learnt he had stolen about ten motorcycles, including the latest one found with him fow which a young man hanged himself in the area.
The motorcycle thief, according to eyewitness, was burnt alive in the area.
The Plateau State Police Command, spokesman, DSP. Alfred Alabo confirmed the incident to The Nation.
He said one person was confirmed dead in the hospital when the police took them there while the other is receiving treatment.
