Osimhen hopes to return for Madrid clash
Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, hopes to be fully fit for Napoli’s UEFA Champions League matchday five clash against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on November 29.
The 24-year-old has been sidelined since October 13 after being forced off in the 59th minute of Nigeria’s friendly with Saudi Arabia which ended 2-2 in Portugal.
Osimhen was not called up by Nigeria for their 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
He has missed Napoli’s last five consecutive games, leaving Rudi Garcia without his star striker who has scored six times in the 10 games he has played in so far this season before his injury.
