Victor Osimhen
Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen yesterday netted his 30th goal for Napoli when the Partenopei trashed Monza 4-0 at the Stadio Maradona in a Serie A clash.
Since joining Napoli in a record transfer from Lille of France in 2020, the Nigerian striker has notched 10 assists in the 63 games he has played for the club.
The former Golden Eagles star was on target on matchday one for the Partenopei in their 5-2 thumping of Hellas Verona 5-2 while he also made an assist in the tie.
And yesterday, Osimhen lived up to expectation when he netted the second goal in the 47th minute for Napoli in their 4-0 win over Monza while Georgia winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored twice in his second Serie A game for Napoli.

The 21-year-old Kvaratskhelia, who also scored on his league debut in Napoli’s 5-2 win at Hellas Verona, took his tally to three goals in two games since joining from Dinamo Batumi.
A delighted Osinhen lauded his teammates for their display.
“It was a great performance, I’m proud of how all this team interpreted from the first to the last minute,” Osimhen told Dazn.
He described the Kvaratskhelia as a good player. “We will continue to work to build the understanding even more. He is a player who can give a lot and help us win the game.”
On his substitution, he said: “It’s nothing to do with the change, but I wanted to motivate the team even me.
“Everyone, from those on the field to those on the bench, will try to give our all for this season. There are many challenges to understanding where this Napoli can go.”
