Peter Nwachukwu, husband of late gospel singer, Osinachi, has spoken for the first time on the allegations of domestic violence levelled against him.
This was just as he was taken to his house in handcuffs on Tuesday and his case moved to the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
According to available information, Peter told operatives of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command that his wife had been ill since November last year, denying allegations of domestic violence against him by his children and wife’s colleagues.

He said he took Osinachi to the Federal Medical Centre, Gwagwalada General Hospital and National Hospital, all in Abuja, seeking treatment for her.
The police then asked him for evidence of the treatment, leading to his being taken home in handcuff.
After this, sources said Peter was moved to the Force Headquarters, which has taken over the case.
There were reports on Tuesday that autopsy would be conducted on Osinachi’s remains on Wednesday (today).
She was reportedly hit by Peter on the chest with his leg, which led to be being in coma for five days before she eventually died on Friday.
