Amid sporadic shootings in the Ede community on Friday, operatives of Osun Police Command uncovered an unidentified body at the den of notorious cultists in Ede, Osun State.
The gunshots created panic as residents scampered into safety to avoid being hit by stray bullets from cultists.
The body was discovered after the protests by students of Federal Polytechnic Ede over the killing of their colleagues, Hassan Adedeji who just graduated from the institution and a commercial motorcyclist killed by suspected cultists.
Police had fingered a suspected cultist, Rasidi Okolu who had recently killed and maimed his victims for the recent murder of Adedeji and one other on Wednesday night.
