Patient escapes from hospital over unpaid medical bills in Ogun state
The Ogun State Police Command is looking for a patient who reportedly escaped from the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, to avoid paying her medical bills.
The patient, identified as Saba Elizabeth, reportedly fled on Saturday, December 2, due to her inability to pay her medical bills after she received treatment at the medical centre for an undisclosed disease.
It was gathered that she was admitted to the medical center’s gynecology unit on November 11, 2023, and was supposed to be discharged on November 16, 2023.
However, due to her failure to pay her hospital bills, she was prevented from leaving the hospital.
