PDP, Soludo missing on INEC Anambra gov list

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released a list of parties and candidates for the forthcoming Anambra State governorship poll.
Missing on the list of cleared candidates for the November 6 election is the the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Factional candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, is also not on the released list.
INEC, in a statement by its National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, cited court order for exclusion of the party.
Soludo emerged winner of the APGA faction loyal to Governor Willie Obiano.
But the commission cleared the candidate of the other APGA faction Chukwuma Micheal Umeoji for the poll.
