PDP suffers setback as 1900 members decamp to APC in Katsina

The Director General (DG) of Senator Yakubu Lado governorship Campaign Council under the Katsina State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019, Alhaji Sani Abu Minista along with over 1,900 others have defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC )in Katsina State.

Newsbreak.ng reports that Abu Minista made his defection official when the Dikko Umaru Radda- Faruk Lawal Jobe gubernatorial campaign train stormed Danmusa Local Government Area (LGA) at the weekend to showcase their manifesto and canvass for votes of electorate in the area ahead of the 2023 election.

Another notable figure among the 1,907 decampees from across the 11 wards under Danmusa LGA is Alhaji Abdulhamid Aliyu Danmusa, a former Sole Administrator of Ɗanmusa Local Government Council.

Abu Minista also donated an office complex to the APC, which Umar Radda, the APC governorship candidate, commissioned during the visit.
