A leader of the Ijaw nation in the South-South region of Nigeria, Chief Edwin Clark has endorsed the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi for the 2023 election. His endorsement is coming three days after that of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo who asked Nigerians to jettison the candidates of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and that of the Peoples Democratic party, Atiku Abubakar.
The 96 year old Clark made the pronouncement in his residence in Abuja on Tuesday. He said Nigerian youths stand as the greatest beneficiaries of the change he is advocating for adding that Obi’s pathway to sustainable development is commendable just as his desire to carry along people from the Niger Delta in his governance.
