A building under construction has collapsed at the Federal Medical Centre in Umuahia, Abia State capital.
Chief Medical Director, FMC, Umuahia, Professor Azubuike Onyebuchi, said the incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday.
He said he was waiting for the contractor and site supervisor to explain what happened to the collapsed section of the new ultra modern building meant to house accident and emergency unit of the hospital.
He also confirmed that no life was lost in the tragic incident.
